angel
today was my tournament. i did my prose twice and my POI three times. the first time I did my POI, I completely totally and entirely messed up. but I was able to do really good at pretending I didn't mess up... one of the other speakers said she couldn't tell that I mixed it all up. i broke and got 1st out of 7 for POI:) it feels nice. i got the cutest little trophy with a golden angel woman. so pretty.
i got to sit by the pond today and watch the koi while I waited. i felt a little shy and nervous with everyone new today, but it was good. people were nice, as always
i didn't sleep good the night before, so its nice that I still did good. I'm hoping to spend the next 2 weeks preparing a duo with my teammate and perfecting my prose, because my POI is already stronger and I want my prose to break too. once it breaks ill feel better about it lol.
since I won first, I have to move up to open next tournament. I'm a little nervous about it, since I know open POI is really amazing, but I've been competing in open prose the last two tournaments anyway, so...
we got icecream and raising canes afterwards. I'm really sleepy. i took a nice shower and packed up my bag. tomorrow I'm wearing all black !!! which is boring v_v I'm going to buy one more colorful shirt for the next tournament :) and hopefully a new blazer. i see a lot of very pretty pinstripe suits, so I want one of those, but I don't want to buy too much when I only "need" 2 suits since tournaments are usually 2 days.
anyway its almost 10pm and I'm sleepy so I'm going to go to bed now:) hopefully tomorrow is just as good
